Hello! I'm Al, short for Alan, a moderate NY Republican, who favors real solutions over partisan finger pointing.  I was born and raised on a farm in upstate New York. My likes include music, athletics, reading, and the great outdoors. When I'm not working and earning a living, spend much of my time thinking about writing a book about a modern day politician trying to maintain a sense of integrity amid the murky depths of politics as usual in Washington, DC.
